The Internet Law Task Force that Kurt refers to above is further
described in a document on our ftp site, directory Re-Legislation,
file ILTF-Purpose.  The organization is hoped to be "the legal policy
and norms forum for the Internet"--to set standards for
"self-regulation and accountability."  It did not exist at the time
this document was written last April; Kurt says this mailing list is
an announcement that it is starting work.
