Last March, Newport High School senior Paul Kim included links to sexually
explicit material and poked fun at his classmates for being obsessed with
sex on his Unofficial Newport High School Home Page. As a result, Kim's
recommendation for a National Merit scholarship and admission to college
were revoked.

Kim, a 3.8 grade-point-average student, took his case to court and won. The
Bellevue School District will allow Kim to reapply for the scholarship and
will pay him $2,000.

Kim is currently a freshmen at Columbia University in New York and has
since created a new home page.
