cr> Submitting a comment to the FCC

If you have a well-researched and well-thought-out comment on an FCC
activity, here is where to send it. (I compiled the information from
a couple different places.) I have been working hard on a comment
concerning the ACTA petition that I hope is both well-researched and
well-thought-out (people on this list have definitely been helpful in
making it more so!) and I will post the final version here if and when
the CPSR board approves it.

Commenters should file an original and four copies of their comments with
the Office of the Secretary, Federal Communications Commission, 1919 M
Street, N.W., Room 222, Washington, D.C. 20554. A copy should also be sent
to Wanda Harris, Common Carrier Bureau, FCC, Room 518, 1919 M Street, N.W.,
Washington, D.C.
20554, and to the Commission's contractor for public service records
duplication: ITS, Inc., 2100 M Street, N.W., Suite 140, Washington, D.C.

Informal comments in this proceeding may also be filed via electronic mail
to <•••@••.•••>. All filings in this non-docketed proceeding should
reference RM No. 8775."... Kevin Werbach, FCC

to file online comments generally, send them to •••@••.•••. Some
rulemakings have special email boxes set aside, in that case, send the
comment to the rulemaking. Right now, the special boxes include the
ACTA petition (email box •••@••.•••); the rulemaking related to
Universal Service requirements of the Telecom Act of 1996 (email box
•••@••.•••); •••@••.•••; •••@••.•••; and •••@••.•••.
