The first is "Global Networks Confront National Rules: Examining the
Legal Constraints Imposed on the Online Industry in Europe and the
US," sponsored by the Communications Media Center and the Media Law
Project at New York Law School, Friday, March 22, New York City.

The second is "We the People: Building Community Through Media"
sponsored by the Alliance for Community Media, July 17-20, Arlington,
Virginia.  The Alliance for Community Media has taken a leading role
in providing access to cable TV and other media for communities and
ordinary citizens.
